HOUSTON - Experienced litigator Marlene Williams has joined Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s labor and employment practice as senior counsel from Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P.
With more than a decade of experience advising clients on labor and employment matters, Williams is experienced in a wide variety of disputes, from retaliation cases, wage and hour cases, medical leave cases, employment law torts and trade secret and non-compete disputes. She has frequently represented employers before administrative bodies and has advised employers on issues related to hiring and firing, harassment, investigations and document retention.
In addition to her labor and employment experience, Williams has represented clients in a variety of industries in complex commercial litigation and product liability cases, including multi-party and "bet-the-company" cases.
Williams received her B.S., magna cum laude, from Loyola University and her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
