Friedman Schuman's Philadelphia office will be managed by shareholder Daniel D. McCaffery. McCaffery specializes in complex commercial and municipal litigation and government relations. A former assistant district attorney, McCaffery has extensive litigation experience having successfully represented clients at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts.
In 2009, McCaffery campaigned for the office of Philadelphia district attorney and earned hundreds of key area endorsements, including the Philadelphia area AFL-CIO and Building Trades. McCaffery finished second in a five-person primary, garnering more than 30 percent of the vote.
Shareholder Jeffrey R. Hoffmann will join McCaffery in the Philadelphia office, dividing his time between Jenkintown and Philadelphia. Hoffmann concentrates his practice on real estate law, real estate transactions and financing, and has significant experience in the area of elder law.
At its new office, Friedman Schuman will offer a full-range of services, including guidance on matters relating to commercial financing, real estate transactions, land use and zoning, personal injury, tax planning and wealth management, with a special emphasis on complex litigation and representation of governmental agencies.
