PHILADELPHIA - Thorp Reed & Armstrong LLP has expanded its presence in the Mid-Atlantic region with the opening of a new office in Wilmington, Del.
This office allows Thorp Reed to provide its full range of legal services to its clients in Delaware. Additionally, Thorp Reed is now situated to provide local counsel for clients and co-counsel in Delaware matters, a significant role in a state with stringent rules for the practice of law.
The Wilmington office further solidifies Thorp Reed's bankruptcy practice group that over the past several years has represented clients in significant Delaware cases through its partners, Kimberly Wakim, Practice Group Leader, Patrick Carothers, William Price and Jeffrey Carbino.
In conjunction with the opening of the Wilmington office, experienced bankruptcy attorney Karen M. Grivner has joined Thorp Reed. Carbino, who is based out Thorp Reed's Philadelphia office, and who is also a Delaware licensed attorney, will be part of the Wilmington office.
Grivner joins Thorp Reed from the Wilmington, Del., firm of Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard, where she focused her practice on bankruptcy and creditors' rights, including several representations of debtors, creditors' committees and trade creditors, among other constituencies in the bankruptcy context. She earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.
Since 1895, Thorp Reed & Armstrong LLP has been a premier Pennsylvania-based law firm that has grown to include offices in Philadelphia, Princeton, N.J., and Wheeling, W.Va., in addition to Pittsburgh. For more information, visit www.thorpreed.com.
