Biography:

Martin is a leading projects partner who regularly advises companies, government and contractors in relation to major energy, infrastructure and construction projects and their structuring. He is the national head of our Projects, Infrastructure & Construction team and co-head of the Energy & Resources team.

Martin has been involved in the development and construction of recycled water infrastructure, large scale grid-connected battery projects, wind and solar farms, district energy schemes, ports, gas pipelines and electricity transmission infrastructure. He has experience with a wide range of contracting models including ECI, EPC, D&C and alliancing.

He is a regular lecturer at universities and holds a Master of Law with first class honours from the University of Cambridge. In The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, Martin is described as a “magic circle quality” lawyer whose “intelligent, commercial and easy to understand advice is second to none” and is recommended for both Energy and Construction. He is currently individually recognised in Chambers Global and Chambers Asia Pacific for Energy & Natural Resources: Utilities.
