LexisNexis Launches Protégé™︎ Workflow in India, Enhancing Legal Productivity with AI and Complementary Case Analysis Capabilities

New AI workflow solution, combined with recently launched Case Analysis India on Lexis Advance®, enables faster, more informed legal outcomes

NEW DELHI, INDIA — [Insert Date], 2026 — LexisNexis® Legal & Professional, a global leader in information, analytics, and AI-powered legal workflow solutions, today announced the launch of ProtégéTm Workflow in India, introducing a new approach to automating legal work and improving productivity through artificial intelligence.

The launch builds on LexisNexis’ continued investment in the Indian legal market, following the introduction of Case Analysis India in February 2026 on Lexis Advance® India. Together, these innovations deliver a complementary solution that combines AI-driven workflow automation with authoritative legal research and case intelligence.

“Legal professionals need both speed and certainty in their work,” said Gaythri Raman, Managing Director, India and Southeast Asia, LexisNexis Legal & Professional. “Protégé Workflow helps automate everyday legal tasks in a structured, secure environment, while Case Analysis India strengthens legal research by providing clear insights into precedents and case treatment. Together, they enable lawyers to work more efficiently without compromising on accuracy or depth.”

Protégé Workflow is designed to help legal professionals accelerate routine, repetitive work through structured, reusable workflows tailored to the way legal work is performed. Within a private workspace, users can generate draft communications, summaries, and client updates; automate recurring tasks such as interview and meeting summarization; and review documents with automatic extraction of timelines, issues, and key facts. The platform also includes a no-code custom workflow builder, enabling law firms and corporate legal departments to design and standardize processes aligned to their internal practices. By combining pre-built workflows with the ability to customize, Protégé Workflow enables legal teams to scale efficiency while maintaining consistency and control.

Unlike publicly available AI tools, Protégé Workflow operates within a private, enterprise-grade environment governed by LexisNexis security and privacy standards. This ensures that sensitive client and organizational data remains protected while enabling everyday AI use cases.

Complementing the launch of Protégé Workflow is Case Analysis India, introduced in February 2026 on Lexis Advance India, which enhances how legal professionals conduct case law research and validate legal arguments. The solution enables users to quickly identify relevant precedents and assess their precedential value, understand how cases have been treated over time, and navigate complex legal relationships across judgments. With intuitive visual indicators and filtering capabilities, legal professionals can more efficiently determine the authority and relevance of cases, reducing the need to review judgments in full while improving the quality and reliability of legal research.

Together, Protégé Workflow and Lexis Advance India provide a connected experience that enables legal professionals to move seamlessly from AI-assisted task execution to authoritative legal research and validation. This combined approach supports faster, more consistent outcomes while maintaining the high standards of accuracy and trust required in legal practice.

Protégé Workflow in India is introduced as a flexible, standalone AI solution, with plans to be fully integrated with trusted LexisNexis content in the near future. This allows legal professionals to adopt AI-driven workflows alongside their existing research tools, while continuing to rely on Lexis Advance India for comprehensive legal content and case analysis.
