You have to hand it to Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper: he’s pretty hip for a 63-year-old. As the Colorado Springs Gazette reports, the gov often referred to as “Hick” took some time for levity during his recent State of the State address to lawmakers, referencing Taylor Swift lyrics, online dating services, Internet cat videos and casually referring to the members of the state Supreme Court in attendance as “The Supremes.” Hickenlooper also noted the presence of one Ms. Robin Pringle, his new fiancé and at 37, 26 years his junior. So hey, maybe we can forgive the man if he’s a bit giddy these days. Ah, love.
