Knowledge and Research Consultant Tip: Find Definitions for Shepard’s® Editorial Phrases

I was recently asked about the depth and breadth of Shepard’s® editorial phrases, specifically about what generated a yellow caution signal. If you would like to better understand the available editorial phrases available, know that you can find detailed information when interacting with a Shepard’s report.

When viewing a Shepard’s report you can click on the editorial phrase, in this case “Overruled as stated in”, to see a definition:

A dialog box appears that defines the phrase. Also, under the definition is a link to an alphabetized list all Shepard’s® editorial phrases:
