Knowledge & Research Consultant Research Tip: Lexis+ Alerts Expiration Date options

When setting up an Alert you have two choices for the Expiration of the Alert. These choices are the last item in the Alert dialog set-up box.

You can select the Standard Expiration, which will be 5 years from today:

Or you can select a Custom Expiration date that can be any day between today and two years in the future:

Setting an expiration date is part of the management strategy of Alerts and helps minimize the project of auditing and deleting Alerts for the organization overall.
