To combine sources to search at the same time, you can build a source set using the search box and word wheel on the Lexis Advance home page.
For example, let’s say you want to search The Wall Street Journal®, The New York Times®, and The National Law Journal®. You begin typing “wall street,” and in the word wheel below, “The Wall Street Journal” appears. Do NOT click on the title; instead, select the magnifying glass icon to the right of the title, and select Add to Search:
Begin typing “new york times,” and from the word wheel, select the magnifying glass icon to the right:
And begin typing “the national law journal,” and select the magnifying glass icon to the right:
Now you can conduct a search, and the results will be limited to those three sources:
Combining sources will save you time and provide a more precise source selection prior to running a search.
