Help summer associates be practice-ready with the LexisNexis® Prepare to Practice program

day one
Please share this information with students or your incoming summer and fall associates to help them prepare for their summer or post-graduate positions.
As a summer or new associate, partners and senior associates will expect you to be able to fulfill their research and drafting requests with accuracy and efficiency. To ensure you have the know-how you need to be a successful summer associate, complete Prepare to Practice, a LexisNexis® training program for law students that have secured summer associate positions.
You’ll learn to quickly and thoroughly research unfamiliar topics, regulations and regulatory history, and write, prepare and find any legal document. You’ll also be Professional Research Certificated, which you can list on your resume and LinkedIn® profile so future employers know you are practice-ready.
(1)       Instructional video and quiz: Researching an Unfamiliar Topic
(2)       Instructional video and quiz: Transactional and Litigation Drafting
(3)       Professional Research Certification Assessment
Visit the Prepare to Practice site to get started. Here, you can also sign up for on-campus workshops and watch additional training videos. If you have questions or need assistance, contact your law school account executive.
