Librarian Relations Consultant Research Tip: Use these two segments for a company search across content

Segment searching in the Lexis Advance service can be very useful when looking for information in a specific part of a document, such as the NAME segment for party names in cases and verdicts, and COMPANY in News and Company & Financial sources.

Did you know you can run a single company name search against all content categories by combining segments? For example, insert the name of the company—public or private—in the parentheses. The OR connector with both segments assures it will retrieve any document matching either of the two segments.

COMPANY(Salesforce.com) OR NAME(Salesforce.com)

When viewing results, select each of the retrieved categories and use the native filters and Search Within to narrow your results for that content type.
