U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of State (State) invite interested parties to participate in a stakeholder engagement concerning the U.S.-Russian Adoption Agreement, which will enter into force on Thursday, November 1, 2012. The engagement will take place on Thursday, October 18, 2012, from 1:00– 2:00 pm (Eastern). USCIS and State subject matter experts will provide information regarding:
We are pleased that the Agreement will soon enter into force and believe that its provisions will improve the process of intercountry adoptions between the United States and Russia. Adoption processing will continue uninterrupted as we make the transition, so we encourage your participation in this informational teleconference to explain how implementation of the Agreement will unfold.
