CSC, in collaboration with legal publisher LexisNexis, has released the inaugural edition of Oklahoma Laws Governing Business Entities Annotated to provide legal professionals with the comprehensive resource they need to counsel clients, and complete transactions, and conduct business. The resource contains up-to-date Oklahoma business entity legislation and other valued features to make legal research faster and more efficient.
This book features Title 18—Corporations and Title 54—Partnerships from the Oklahoma Statutes. Also included is a curated selection of statutes from related titles and regulations from the Oklahoma Administrative Code covering business records, corporate taxation, trademarks, and securities, as well as Articles, 1, 8, and 9 from the Uniform Commercial Code. All statutory content is updated through the 2022 Second Regular Session of the 58th Oklahoma Legislature.
Statutory changes are captured in the book’s Table of Sections Affected for fast identification. Statutes are fully annotated with the latest case notes from state and federal courts interpreting the law.
The book also includes an easy-to-reference Fee Schedule showing the Secretary of State’s required filing fees for various business services, as well as access to more than 50 Oklahoma forms for incorporation/formation, qualification, mergers, dissolution, and name reservation for all entity types via the LexisNexis Bookstore download center. A listing of forms and contact information for Oklahoma’s Secretary of State Business Services Division can be found in the book’s appendix.
Legal professionals who find this resource to be helpful and also practice in Texas, may also be interested in CSC’s Texas Laws Governing Business Entities Annotated. This biannually updated statutory collection is an essential resource for business and legal professionals in the Lone Star State
Oklahoma Laws Governing Business Entities Annotated is available as a softbound book or as an ebook, compatible with dedicated e-reader devices, computers, tablets and smartphones that use e-reader software or applications. It’s also available on the LexisNexis Digital Library.
