Lex Machina participated in the 2024 American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) Annual Meeting and Conference in Chicago, Illinois. The company showcased its newest enhancements of the product and facilitated discussions about the product with law librarians and those practicing in academia.
“We [engaged in] a lot of good conversations with current customers and prospects,” said Lex Machina Practice Area Specialist, Adam Masarek. “People really liked the new motion metrics report, specifically the motion chains for various motion types and how the visualization of the motion chains is not too much information to digest.”
He further stated, “People really liked our appellate outcomes, because what we have is deeper than other platforms out there.”
Lex Machina Principal Data Scientist, Becky Sharp, demoed an early preview of our trailblazer feature, a large language model that interprets a natural language query from an end user and takes him or her to the page in the product that best answers their query.
She stated, “My favorite part was the interactions with the audience and our users.” She further added, “Our users are awesome, well-informed, and full of great questions and suggestions; the atmosphere during and after the demo was one of both excitement as well as a sense of collaboration, which was so fun to experience.”
