Top Scorer Among Industry Leaders

NEW YORK – LexisNexis Legal & Professional®, a leading global provider of information and analytics, has been recognized for the second consecutive year as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion” by the Disability Equality Index® (DEI), the world’s most comprehensive benchmarking tool for the Fortune 1000 and Am Law 200 to measure disability workplace inclusion efforts, identify areas of improvement and benchmark progress against industry peers.

LexisNexis earned the top score of 100, indicating a strong commitment and adherence to disability inclusion practices. Companies receive a score, on a scale of zero (0) to 100, with those earning 80 and above recognized as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.” The 2023 index, which is a joint initiative of the American Association of People with Disabilities and Disability:IN, measured key performance indicators, including culture and leadership; enterprise-wide access; employment practices including benefits and recruitment; and employee engagement.

This award not only represents LexisNexis' commitment to cultivating an inclusive workplace and solidifying our position as an employer of choice but also aligns with our mission to shape a more just world.

“Businesses have the power to drive the global advancement of disability inclusion, and we’re thrilled to see more companies than ever leverage the Disability Equality Index to measure their progress. We recognize these top-scoring companies as a ‘Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion’ for their passion and efforts to lead the way in creating greater equity for people with disabilities in the workplace, marketplace, and supply chain,” said Jill Houghton, President and CEO of Disability:IN.

“The 2023 DEI ranking is a significant indicator of our commitment to cultivate working environments that best meet the needs of our employees with disabilities,” said Amy Liedke, LexisNexis Executive Vice President of Human Resources. “LexisNexis is a place where we truly believe in the value of inclusion and strive to ensure that all employees can contribute, grow and belong.”
