July 23, 2020

Awarded 2020 Best CEOs for Diversity, Best Leadership Teams, Best Company for Professional Development by Comparably

July 23, 2020 — NEW YORK - LexisNexis Legal & Professional, a leading global provider of information and analytics, is proud to announce that CEO Mike Walsh was named one of the top ten 2020 Best CEOs for Diversity by Comparably. Rankings were based solely on anonymous sentiment ratings from employees of color (non-Caucasian) about their chief executive officers. Other tech company CEO honorees included Satya Nadella from Microsoft, Sundar Pichai from Google, and Tim Cook from Apple.

The company was also awarded Best Leadership Team and Best Company for Professional Development. Honorees consist of companies that had the highest scores, as rated by their employees on Comparably.com.

“Our people are our strength and the driving force in our business, and we are honored to receive these awards alongside other technology leaders like Google, Microsoft, and Apple,” said Mike Walsh, CEO of LexisNexis Legal & Professional. “From leading customer-driven innovation, to industry transformation, to caring for our communities, each other, and advancing the rule of law, these awards reflect the diverse, talented and committed people at our company.”

Comparably Awards are derived from sentiment ratings provided by employees who anonymously rated their employers on Comparably.com during a 12-month period (June 30, 2019 through June 30, 2020). There were no fees or costs associated with participating, nor was nomination required. The final data set was compiled from 10 million ratings across 60,000 U.S. companies large and small.
