Community Contribution

As part of a regional commitment to the rule of law, LexisNexis Asia Pacific has implemented a program of support that enables local communities and developing nations to gain access to materials and guidelines, essential to the proper administration of justice and advancement of society.

The Juris Pilot

LexisNexis created a new initiative, The Juris Pilot, to connect legal professionals with legal bodies in developing countries for pro bono opportunities that advance the rule of law. The inaugural program was run with the Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation in Myanmar.

LexisNexis Myanmar Law School Programme

LexisNexis partnered with the Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL) to provide online legal research solutions and training for Myanmar's Yangon Law School and Mandalay Law School. After the devastation of Typhoon Nargis in 2016, LexisNexis partnered with the Philippine Group of Law Librarians (PGLL) to facilitate a trip to restore the damaged Yangon Law School.

National Association of Community Legal Centres Partnership

LexisNexis and the National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC) have entered into a partnership to promote the rule of law in Australia by providing high quality online legal resources to over 180 Community Legal Centres operating across Australia and support better access to justice for the 200,000+ disadvantaged clients they assist every year.
