Lexis Create+ Admin Guide

Welcome to Lexis Create+! We’re excited to have you on board. Lexis Create+ brings powerful legal drafting tools directly into Microsoft Word to help your team work smarter and faster.

 

Installing the Plug-in

We’ve already sent your users an email with instructions to install the Lexis Create+ plug-in.
You can also share this link with them directly: Lexis Create+ User Guide 

Before sharing, please check if your users can self-install Word plug-ins:
- If they can install plug-ins, they can follow the steps on the User Installation Page.
- If they cannot install plug-ins, you have two options:

 

If You Have Admin Rights

You can install the plug-in on behalf of your users by following these steps:

  1. Log into the Microsoft® Admin Center.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Go to Add-ins.
    Note: If Add-ins is not available go to Integrated apps.
  4. Select Deploy Add-in at top of page and click Next.
  5. Select “Choose from the store” option.
  6. Browse or search for Lexis Create+ and click the “Add” button beside the add-in.
  7. Follow the prompts to configure the add-in for everyone/specific group/just me.
  8. Set the desired deployment method (Fixed, Available, Optional)
  9. Click on “Deploy” button
  10. A green tick appears when the add-in is deployed. Follow the on-page instructions to test the add-in.
  11. When finished, select Next. If you’ve deployed to just yourself, you can select and Change who has access to the add-in to deploy to more users. If you’ve deployed the add-in to other members of your organisation, follow the instructions to announce the deployment of the add-in.

Once the Add-in is deployed it will automatically display in Word.

If you do not have admin rights, you can send this link to your IT department so they can complete the installation for your users.

 

Access the Admin Dashboard

Once the plug-in is installed, you can manage users and settings via the Lexis Create+ Admin Dashboard: https://dashboard.lexis.com

 

Sign In with Your LexisNexis Credentials

For both the plug-in and the dashboard, simply use your LexisNexis login credentials to sign in.
