Jeff Reihl is Technology Chairman for the global legal business of LexisNexis. In this capacity, he is responsible for helping the company anticipate and prepare for how technology will shape the future of the industries the company serves, enabling LexisNexis to add value for customers and accelerate business growth.

Jeff was previously global Chief Technology Officer (CTO) responsible for global technology strategy and developing the company’s best-in class, cloud-based technology infrastructure. As CTO, Jeff championed the adoption of Agile and DevOps software development principles and practices, and established a global technology organization, supporting the growth of innovation centers in Raleigh, London, and South Africa, among others. He was instrumental in the company’s technology transition to quickly and seamlessly adopt and deploy market-leading, responsible AI. Jeff previously led the New Lexis Technology and Operations team, Global Solutions Development, and before that, Editorial & Content Development for LexisNexis.

Before joining LexisNexis in 2007, Jeff held multiple executive leadership roles at Thomson Corporation in both P&L and staff functions, including Chief Information Officer of Thomson Healthcare and Executive Vice President of Thomson Clinical Solutions and Thomson Micromedex. Prior to that, he was VP, Product and Systems Development at ProQuest and also served as a Principal Engineer and Software Manager at Hughes Network Systems.

Jeff earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in computer science from The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.

Jeff and his wife live in Keystone, Colorado, and he spends a lot of time in the Raleigh Technology Center. Outside of work, Jeff is a proud grandfather and enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking and biking.
