  • Re: What is a "Client"

TM 7 Pro SR 2A What is the setting to tell TM which update to do? I have automatic updates enabled (Program Level Setup) and I've seen how changing a firm's address in its contact record trickles down to the individuals' records. I have checked "Update when lookup is change" under Link Options for both the Contact lookup on the

  • Adding Custom Fields Into the Database

TM Pro 7 SR2-A We're looking at doing some heavy customization that would involve adding many more fields than are available on the Matter form. Without getting into specifics, the two questions are: 1. In the Pro version, is it possible to actually add additional fields to the TPS matter table, for manipulation through form styles and reports?

  • Re: daily log reports

I don't think the Personal Journal report would work, because it doesn't show Todo records. How about a report from the Alerts screen? This will show all records for the user. Another report for Events and Todo records is the Daily Calendar report, but it doesn't show any of the related records the user might have added.

The List Report from the Personal Journal may be what you're looking for.

  • Re: Record Review changes Date In date

I'm also seeing this strange date on our Delegated Todo forms. We have fields set up for Date Assigned, Date Started, Date Completed, Dated Due By. Periodically, when I open a Dele Todo that I've been working on, the dates are all end in 1801, when earlier in the day they were correct. I can't figure out what's causing the dates to change

  • Re: Review Checkmark on Cases

This is what I've found works for us. In the Setup section of the review panel, users need to have an "x" in the Review/End column. Once a user is finished with the review, he/she changes her status to Review Complete. Once all users have changed their status to Review Complete, the Review checkbox on the record can be unchecked. • Custom Fields

TM 7 Pro SR1. 1) Are the form styles different in the Enterprise version that would give us more fields available for customization? 2) Does inheritance between related record types work differently in Enterprise? I know in Professional version that only the regarding line is inherited between related record types.

  • Re: MS Office Addins

Try unchecking and/or deleting the toolbars in each Office product. For Word, you can also move the file out of the startup folder. It's probably at c:\program files\Microsoft Office\Office1x\Startup.

  • Re: Forum Monitoring & RSS feeds

I've tried to set up Time Matters forum in an RSS News Reader program. I've copied the shortcut from the lower right corner of the main Time Matters forum screen, but it seems like it only updates for one day. The second day, I get no new posts. I just recopied the shortcut for the RSS feed and the feed updated. Is that anticipated behavior

  • Re: Includng a non-field date in generated letters

Our solution was to incorporate information from the Document Record, specifically the create date. I started my templates on the Document tab [File, Setup, Template, Merge], and checked both Contact and Matter to have fields included. Hope this helps.
