Free Webinar to Show How Law Firms Can Make Attorney Ratings Work for Them
Many law firms are skeptical of attorney ratings services.
If you're one of those firms, you might want to take note of this statistic:
According to a March 2012 survey by The Research Intelligence Group, nearly 6
in 10 consumers seeking an attorney in the past year checked ratings and online
reviews for the attorneys who popped up in their research. What's more, of
those consumers, roughly two-thirds said that ratings and reviews were
influential in the decision process.
Like it or not, attorney ratings are here to stay. By some
estimates, there are now more than 700 lawyer ratings programs in operation,
all with slightly varying methodologies used to determine a lawyer's rating. If
you're an attorney practicing in America today, you're going to get rated
whether you like it or not.
On May 9th, at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, LexisNexis
will host a free Webinar, "Leveraging Attorney Ratings and Reviews," that will
inform lawyers and law firm marketing professionals about how attorney ratings
play an important part in the consumer decision-making process when searching
for - and hiring - a lawyer. The program will illustrate the value of ratings,
what they mean, and how to use them to your advantage in order to generate
client leads.
The special guest speaker for the webinar will be Carlton
Dyce, Vice President of Peer Review Ratings and Client Review Services at
LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. Carlton has more than 25 years of broad
experience in the business and will share unique insights.
