Kentucky Appeals Panel: Plaintiffs Had Sufficient Time To Identify Expert

FRANKFORT, Ky. - The Kentucky Court of Appeals on Nov. 15 upheld summary judgment for the defendant in a medical malpractice action involving an alleged delay in a breast cancer diagnosis, agreeing that the plaintiffs had an appropriate amount of time to complete discovery and identify experts (Simone Jones, et al. v. Cynthia H. Hart, M.D., No. 2012-CA-001981-MR, Ky. App.; 2013 Ky. App. Unpub. LEXIS 908).
