Mealey's PI/Product Liability - 7th Circuit Vacates Approval Of Settlement In Pella ProLine Windows Litigation

CHICAGO - A Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on June 2 vacated a federal judge in Illinois' ruling entering final approval of a settlement for purchasers of Pella Corp.'s ProLine windows, ruling that that "almost every danger sign in a class action settlement that our court and other courts have warned district judges to be on the lookout for was present in this case" (Kent Eubank, et al. v. Pella Corporation, et al., Nos. 13-2091, 13-2133, 13-2136, 13-2162, 13-2202, 7th Cir.).
