Discrimination Lawsuit Filed Against CBS Game Show The Price Is Right

LOS ANGELES - Carney R. Shegerian, an employee rights attorney and founder of Shegerian & Associates, has announced the filing of a civil rights lawsuit on behalf of model Shane Stirling against the television game show The Price Is Right alleging discriminatory, harassing and retaliatory conduct based on her pregnancy, sex and gender (Shane Stirling vs. CBS Corporation, et al., No. BC442846, Calif. Super., Los Angeles Co. [Central]).

The lawsuit states that when the former model of The Price Is Right announced that she was pregnant in December 2006, she was forced into an early pregnancy leave by the show and was not allowed to return to her work for almost a year after her child's birth. When she returned after a year to the show, she was fired, according to Shegerian.
