Barbara G. Werther, principal, has more than 30 years of experience in construction and government contracts law, both in the private sector and on public projects. Werther has represented both contractors and owners in disputes regarding substantial claims for delays, acceleration, inefficiencies, default terminations, construction catastrophes and false claims.
She is recognized as one of the country's leading construction and government contracts lawyers in Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA and Washington DC's Best Lawyers. She hosted the first Annual Women in Construction Conference in Washington DC in 2006. Most recently she spoke on "Advanced Negotiations Strategies" for the ABA Construction Forum Midwinter Meeting.
