Goodwin Procter Expands Litigation Practice With Addition Of Chad R. Fuller In San Diego

SAN DIEGO - Goodwin Procter LLP, a national Am Law 50 firm, has announced that Chad R. Fuller has joined the firm's Litigation Department in its San Diego office as a member of Goodwin's Business Litigation Practice.

He will focus on general business litigation, including defense work related to consumer class actions. Fuller joins Goodwin from Foley & Lardner, where he was chair of San Diego/Del Mar litigation and co-chair of the national Class Action Working Group.

Fuller has substantial experience defending major consumer class action clients in cases involving claims of false advertising, product defects and charging for fees and services. His clients have included a variety of national and global businesses, ranging from computer, software and telecommunications companies to home warranty, insurance brokerage and auto finance corporations. Current clients include GM Financial/AmeriCredit, Invensys and Sony Electronics North America.

Fuller received his B.S. from the University of California, San Diego, and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. A member of the American Bar Association, Fuller is a member and on the executive committee of the board of directors for the University of San Diego School of Law and a barrister to the Honorable J. Clifford Wallace American Inn of Court. He previously served as co-chair of the San Diego County Bar Association's Litigation Section.
