NORRISTOWN, Pa., - Saltz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett & Bendesky P.C. is growing again as Richard P. Haaz merges his highly successful litigation practice and becomes the founding managing attorney of the firm's new Montgomery County office, the principals announced. He began working out of the firm's Norristown office (43 E. Marshall St.) on May 2.
Haaz, raised in Abington Township and residing in Springfield Township, has been a practicing attorney for more than 30 years and a Montgomery County resident for nearly 40.
Bendesky and Haaz also emphasized the shared commitment to the highest principles of practice, noting that Haaz presently serves as chairman of a hearing committee of the non-partisan Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. The board enforces the ethical standards governing the practice of law in the Commonwealth. In Montgomery County, he has maintained an office in Jenkintown and is past chair of the Montgomery County Bar Association's Legal-Medical Committee. The group is comprised of members of the medical and legal community focused on building stronger relationships and enhancing communications between the two professions. He also serves as a judge pro tem in the First Judicial District.
Robert J. Mongeluzzi, president of the firm, said Haaz has a well-earned reputation for methodically tackling highly complex cases at the state and federal levels.
