Robert J. Mongeluzzi Named Co-Counsel In Fatal Tourist Boat-Barge Collision

PHILADELPHIA - Robert J. Mongeluzzi has been selected by New York-based plaintiff's firm Ronai & Ronai, LLP to serve as co-counsel representing the two young Hungarian victims of the fatal July 7 collision between the Ride the Ducks tourist boat and a sludge barge on the Delaware River, according to a joint announcement by Saltz Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky P.C. and attorneys Peter Ronai and Holly Ostrov Ronai, partners in their firm.

Dora Schwendtner and Szabolcs Prem. Peter of Mosonmagyarova were killed in the incident.

Mongeluzzi, who has successful represented victims in numerous disasters, including the fatal Delaware River Pier 34 collapse and the fatal collapse of the Tropicana Casino garage, said the plaintiff team's discovery process is already under way and they have been in contact with local, state and federal investigating agencies.
