CLEVELAND - J. Timothy McDonald has joined Thompson Hine LLP as a partner in the firm's Labor & Employment practice group in its Atlanta office.
McDonald focuses his practice on litigation and counseling related to employment and employee benefit issues. He defends employers against class action and individual employment claims nationally, and advises them on employment practices and benefit issues. In addition, McDonald represents fiduciaries, benefit plans and employers in employee benefits litigation encompassing individual and class action cases throughout the country.
McDonald received his J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his B.B.A., magna cum laude, from James Madison University. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the District of Columbia and a large number of federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
