The Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in CALIFORNIA rules that the Trump administration endangered public health by keeping a widely used pesticide on the market despite extensive scientific evidence that even tiny levels of exposure can harm babies’ brains. The court ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to remove the chemical chlorpyrifos from sale in the United States within 60 days (ASSOCIATED PRESS).
OKLAHOMA Gov. Mary Fallin (R) signs off on new Board of Health rules for medical marijuana use, several of which replace rules endorsed in July. The latest regulations remove requirements that barred the sale of smokable weed and specified which dispensaries must have a pharmacist on site (OKLAHOMAN [OKLAHOMA CITY]).
