NY Gov Signs EpiPen Insurance Bill: New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) signed a bill (SB 7114) that will require health insurers to cover EpiPens, used to treat severe allergic reactions. The measure also caps consumer out-of-pocket costs for the devices at $100. Some reports indicate the cost of EpiPens has risen 600% since 2007, according to Hochul’s office.
