A new law passed by the Virginia Assembly during the 2022 session allows limited liability companies formed or operating in the state to prepay their annual registration fees for two or three years online. Until now, LLCs had to file annually or face penalties. This and other changes to Virginia’s business laws have been captured in the 2022 Edition of CSCPublishing’s Virginia Laws Governing Business Entities Annotated. A Table of Sections Affected provides a list of new and amended sections, while legislative analysis provides readers with an overview of the changes. The publication also includes the latest case notes from state and federal courts interpreting the law.
Also included in this edition are an updated Fee Schedule with the current fees for business filings, as well as online access to 100 Virginia forms for incorporation/formation, qualification, mergers, dissolution, and name reservation for all entity types via the LexisNexis® Store download center.
