How to set up a client with more than 1 matter

I have several clients who have more than 1 matter at a time.  How do I set up the client so I can print individual bills for each matter, but have them linked to the master client?  Thank you.

 

Assuming you are using contact - matter billing, you would setup each matter separately and link them in the Client field of the matter. If you want to create a consolidate bill for all the matters so that each has it's own bill and you have a "summary" then you will need to go to the Billing Preferences for each matter. On the Advanced Tab check  Consolidate Billing with another matter and then indicate the Master matter.
