Hi Everyone. I'm here to educate myself and try to understand the environment of our justice system. Past experiences in both business and family have left me "baffled" with the results of litigation logic. I know I'll never be completely "enlightened" either, but learn non-the-less, right? Hope this will help find applications of laws as events come up.

I am new here and was wondering if anyone can help me or guide me into looking for case law or information regarding Pennsylvania Notaries who Notary for attorneys and the attorneys refuse to pay for the Notary services after it was agreed upon? I find myself in this situation where I purchased my notary service and did a great deal of Notary work for an attorney who know refuses to pay me after we had an agreement. I have a Magistrate Hearing this week and I wanted some extra documentation regarding case law or other information to present to enhance my case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

But the seller has to go back with a previous buys because they didn't "cancel" the previous contract before acceptig mine. I have a higher offer than the other one. What kind of action I can take to protect my contract?

The lawsuit to make the BP waiver of the right to sue regarding final payments issued by Mr Feinberg's office is spot on. The Interim payment methodology was changed at the eleventh hour behind closed doors to make small companies like ours accept a final payment and waive our right to litigate later. Key elements of the calculations were changed to result in our Interim Claim payment being zero. Our only recourse was to select a final paymant under duress and waive future rights to sue. Supervisors for GCCF in the field were even unaware of the changes until the very last minute after our paperwork was filed. Dirty, rotten and underhanded. I hope the judge sees the light.

Hi, I am in second year Law. After a less than stellar performance in the first semester first year, the study of law and law exam techniques have clicked. The liberal philosophy, social justice and number of fellow students who are aware of the issues, are refreshing. Cheers Matt.
