Supplemental Jurisdiction Over State Law Claims Declined In Debt Collection Suit

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Declining to exercise supplemental jurisdiction over a number of state law claims in a debt collection lawsuit, a federal judge in Michigan on Oct. 22 partially dismissed a lawsuit filed by consumers against a debt collector and an attorney (Vincent Ticconi, et al. v. Mittelstaedt and McNeely P.C., et al., No. 13-14153, E.D. Mich.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 151167).
