When starting a project that involves work on the corporate or e-comm sites. The Global Digital Marketing & e-Comm team (the web team) must be involved at the beginning of project kick-off to plan the work into team's queue. The early engagement of the team will help provide feedback and guidance in areas of user experience, design, content, technology, and product management.
Timeline:
After engaging with the Global Digital Marketing & e-Comm team at the beginning of the project kick-off. The team will map the project task and timeline to each team's queue (UX, Technology, Product Management) to make sure deliverables meet the project launch date. The marketing team should expect to hear project updates and timeline during the weekly team check-up meeting.

Q: When is the best time to involve the Global Digital Marketing & e-Comm team when I don't have all the final materials of the project?
A: It's best to bring us in as soon as the project is initiated even without the final materials. So the team can be able of the project to assess the scoop of work to map it to team's queue.
Q: Do we need to involve the team with every project related with web?
A: Not necessarily. The web team doesn't need to be involved as long as project is not part of the corporate or e-comm site.
