Class Action Lawsuit Alleges Antitrust Violations Against Blue Cross Blue Shield

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - An Arkansas resident filed a class action lawsuit on March 21 in an Arkansas federal court, alleging that agreements between Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) and its licensees divide and allocate health insurance markets throughout the United States in violation of the Sherman Act (Linda L. Mills v. Usable Mutual Insurance Co., et al., No. 13-165, E.D. Ark.).
