Judge Says Opinion Linking 'Narco Saint' Prayer Card To Drug Trafficking OK

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A federal marshal can testify in a drug conspiracy case that many traffickers carry a Jesus Malverde prayer card because he is revered as the patron saint of drug dealers, a federal judge in New Mexico held March 19 (United States of America v. Abraham Bobadilla-Campos, et al.,  No. 09-CR-3071 WJ, D. N.M.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 36455).
