Judge: Alleged Misstatements Contained Cautionary Language In Securities Suit

SAN DIEGO - A pension trust fund has failed to show that a specialized laboratory service provider and certain of its executive officers misrepresented the company's business condition in violation of federal securities law because it has not shown that the defendants' alleged misrepresentations were not forward-looking statements with the requisite cautionary language, a federal judge in California ruled July 12 (Construction Workers Pension Trust Fund - Lake County and Vicinity v.
