Another Orthofix Manager Sentenced For Fraudulent Medical Device Orders

BOSTON - A former territory manager for Orthofix Inc. was sentenced Jan. 23 to three months of home confinement and one year of probation and ordered to pay $13,000 after pleading guilty to one count of health care fraud for falsifying medical device records submitted for Medicare reimbursement (United State of America v. Michael J. McKay, No. 1:12-cr-10129, D. Mass.)
