Description

Emma Johnson, Partner in the Disputes, Investigations and Advisory Team at Ashurst discusses whether contractual performance obligations still stand in light of the various geo-political crisis that had occurred over the past few years. They have seen disruption in global supply chains across sectors, and seeing requests for advice on gas and LNG price re-openers. Clients are wanting to pause and reflect, consider whether the contracts they entered into long before the geo-political events of recent years happened remain beneficial for them or whether there might be a way to pause those contracts or terminate all together and how that process can be managed in the least risky way, as possible.
