Session 1: Windows Client Essentials for Understanding and Maintaining Contact Data

The Essentials Understanding and Maintaining InterAction session is a comprehensive, hands-on review of contact data and contact organization, company association, relationships and contact intelligence used for marketing, business developPment, and data quality efforts. This lesson highlights key components of how Marketing benefits from contact organization and contact quality tools. This course is designed to provide both Marketing and Data Stewards the tools and concepts they need to help succeed in their own InterAction tasks.

Targeted Role:
Marketing professionals and Data Stewards who will be creating or working in folders, adding contacts to lists, and exporting and importing contact information.

Session 2: Windows Client Essentials for Managing Marketing Lists, Searches & Reports

The Essentials Managing Marketing Lists, Searches and Reports session is a comprehensive, hands-on module to prepare marketing users to efficiently and effectively manage lists and reports, and how to search for contacts within specified parameters. This lesson focuses on creating marketing lists and working lists, searching the firm database for target contacts using a set of search criteria, and finally reporting on the data you are contributing through events and finding while searching. This course is specifically designed to provide marketing professionals the instruction they need to begin managing these processes.

Targeted Role:
Marketing professionals who will be working with industry and event lists, searching contact data for marketing targets, and creating reports related to marketing efforts.

Session Outline:
• Create a marketing list including additional fields
• Best practice recommendations for managing mailings and events
• Overview of Folder Dependency Analyzer (FDA)

Session 3: Administrator Client Essentials for Managing User Accounts and User Groups

The Essentials User Accounts and User Groups session is a comprehensive, hands-on overview of creating, maintaining and disabling user access in your database. This lesson emphasizes best practices in InterAction, and provides students with the opportunity to navigate an InterAction environment and demonstrate the tasks they will be managing. This course is valuable for both IT professionals and Marketing Administrators who will be managing the creation and break-down of User Accounts.

IT or Marketing Admins who will be managing user and group setup and maintenance, as well as managing the process when employees leave the organization.
