Rachel has advised and represented clients in divorce and financial remedy proceedings, and has experience of working with unmarried clients. Rachel frequently advises on agreements reached in the mediation process. Additionally, she advises, and represents in the Family Court, those clients who have been unable to reach an agreement about arrangements for children.

Rachel is based in the firms Bristol family law office and in her spare time contributes to the local legal community, through her role as Chair of the Bristol Junior Lawyers Division.

Liza Gatrell

She is experienced in divorce, financial issues and issues concerning children. In particular Liza has experience of matters involving complex financial issues as well as high conflict children’s proceedings. Liza also routinely advises on prenuptial agreements and issues that arise for cohabiting couples.

On numerous occasions, Liza has conducted litigation with an international element, and she is able to work as a team with lawyers in other jurisdictions where necessary.

Having worked on the South Coast for several years, and previously having attended legal clinics at the Portsmouth Naval bases, she has substantial experience of the intricacies of Armed Forces Pensions.

Finally, Liza has been advising on surrogacy law since 2014. For some, the decision to start a family can be an easy and straightforward one, but for many the path can be long and winding. Liza can advise on international and UK surrogacy arrangements.
