Description

After a hopeful summer new variants emerged, causing many employers to push back re-open dates yet again. This constantly changing work landscape has increased stress and anxiety. This program examines wellness through the lens of remote, hybrid, and in-person work environments, and offers a more holistic approach to attorney well-being. And since both employers and individuals have a vested interest in improved well-being, program dialogue will share tools to benefit both. It is our hope that after attending you will have a deeper understanding of the impact of the events of the past year, and more nuanced solutions to help you mitigate the stressors of today’s legal practice. Topics of discussion include: • It is becoming more complicated: Employees and employers are still struggling with the return to office transition - Examining the fully remote, hybrid, and fully in-person environments and their unique stressors and anxiety triggers • Managing this ongoing period of stress: Finding new measurements of success, productivity, and tools to alleviate stress • Tool kit for lawyers and team leaders to help with anxiety • The traditional and nontraditional warning signs of stress: Binging on anything is always disastrous • External efforts that foster internal growth: How doing life and work within the community becomes a life-giving experience • How healthy work motivations is key to well-being: Choosing them wisely • Tips for working at home or in a hybrid world, including managing people working in different modalities/situations • Turning off the camera: Understanding the drain of video meetings and finding better tools
