Description

This webinar will delve into the application of Regulation E and will look at how Regulation E works in concert with the NACHA Operating Rules.
Background
It seems like every time we turn around, there are new or enhanced compliance requirements for processing payments. One of the biggest challenges you face is knowing when you have satisfied all of the appropriate requirements of the regulations that affect ACH transactions processed by your financial institution.

This webinar will delve into the application of Regulation E and will look at how Regulation E works in concert with the NACHA Operating Rules.   Auditors and examiners are expecting you to not only have an understanding of the NACHA Operating Rules, but you must also understand how Reg E applies to the processing of consumer ACH transactions. This understanding is important because there are times when Reg E and the NACHA Operating Rules seem at odds with each other, which can lead to confusion as to how each one applies. It’s important to understand more than which one applies – you need to know how both the regulation and the rules need to be applied until all requirements are met.

Agenda
Attendees will learn how to:
• Identify ACH transactions covered under Reg E
• Pinpoint which Reg E requirements apply to consumer ACH transactions
• Determine what the ACH Rules cover that is not addressed in Reg E
• Satisfy all requirements of both Reg E and the ACH rules

Benefits
The webinar will feature interactive segments where attendees can test their knowledge by responding to multiple choice review questions. Additionally, all registered attendees have the opportunity to ask our speaker questions specific to their institution.
Following the event, attendees who complete a survey will receive a certificate for 1 continuing education credit – valuable toward maintaining your ACH certification. This webinar will also be extremely helpful for anyone taking NACHA’s Accredited ACH Professional exam this fall – Register today!
