Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older as of September 19, 2011 and are fan, or who become a fan during the Promotion Period (set forth below) of the http://www.facebook.com/LexisCommunities site.  Void wherever prohibited by law. Employees of Reed Elsevier Inc. and their parents and its and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers (collectively, "Sponsor") and the immediate family members (i.e. spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. 

TO ENTER:  Beginning 12:01 AM Eastern Time September 19, 2011  through 11:59 PM Eastern Time October 3, 2011 ("Promotion Period"), visit the Sponsor's page at http://www.facebook.com/LexisCommunities during the Promotion Period to enter.  You must enter using the "Link, Like, Love Lexis®!" application on the Facebook Platform, and then follow the on-screen instructions which will include writing a comment about what you like about the LexisNexis Communities or what you would like to see changed with the LexisNexis Communities.

Eligible participants may enter more than once by commenting more than once with unique comments; however, simply indicating that you like a comment does not qualify as an entry. No mechanically reproduced entries of any kind permitted. Illegible and incomplete entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, postage due, misdirected entries or entries not received. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account identified on the online entry form. The authorized account holder is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or online organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

RANDOM DRAWING:  The winner will be selected by random drawings on or about October 10, 2011 from all eligible entries received. Decisions of Sponsor are final on all matters. The winner will be notified by phone/mail. Limit one prize per person/household address. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

PRIZES: Three winners will be chosen.  Each winner will be awarded three American Express Gift Cards with an approximate retail value of $100 each. Prizes are awarded "AS IS."  Sponsors make no offer of any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied (including, without limitation, quality, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prize. Prize details and availability are subject to change, in which case a prize of equal value may be substituted at Sponsor's sole discretion.  The prize(s) consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. No substitution or transfer/assignment of prize by winners permitted.

All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  The potential winner (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is a minor in his/her state of residence) may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form postmarked within 10 days of the date on notification materials. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate potential winner may be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification. The winner may be required to produce picture or some other form of proper identification to claim any prize.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with prize of equal or greater value.

Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winners' name, voice, statements, image and likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, in any medium, without further compensation or notice, unless prohibited by law.  Submission of contact information in connection with this Sweepstakes (whether or not required), including mailing address, phone number, and email address during entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to add entrant to Sponsor's customer database and to contact entrant in the future for promotional reasons.  You may opt-out of receiving such communications as provided within any such marketing materials (e.g., using the "Unsubscribe" feature provided in the footer of Sponsor's emails).

TERMS:  Sponsor and Facebook, Inc. are not responsible for and entrants release each from any failures of any kind (whether caused by computer, technical, or human error) which may either limit the entrant's ability to submit an entry, claim a prize, or otherwise participate in this Sweepstakes, or Sponsor's ability to include all eligible entries, conduct random drawings, notify potential winners, or otherwise execute this Sweepstakes in the manner intended.  Entrants further release and agree to indemnify Sponsor and Facebook, Inc. from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever arising from injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with this Sweepstakes including, but not limited to: (a) the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded; (b) any prize-related activity; (c) any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or any other materials disseminated by Sponsor; and (d) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers, or providers used by an entrant, Sponsor.

The winner assumes all liability and agrees to hold Sponsor harmless for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the program for any reason, including but not limited to, if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the promotion; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the promotion as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify, freeze or prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation or with any provision in these Official Rules.
