Easy Search – New Search Option on lexis.com
(September 9, 2005)

Have you ever wished that searching lexis.com could be like searching Google or your favorite search engine?  Well, now it is!

Using Easy Search is easy! Just click the “Easy Search” choice at the top of your search box, enter a few words and hit Search.

An example for Today’s News might be: Yankees Toronto score.

If you are looking for a phase, place quotation marks around your search terms.

Your results are limited by your default setting for Natural Language searches that you have set under your “Preferences”.

Easy Search is simpler, and is “optimized” to look for two or three search terms. However, there is no limit on the number of terms you can enter.

Results are returned ranked by relevance.
