The Arabian Stories, 29 April 2026: The Ministry of Finance, in coordination with the Tax Authority, has introduced a new tax grievance system to streamline appeals, enhance transparency, and support digital transformation in tax administration.
The system enables taxpayers to submit grievance requests electronically, attach supporting documents, track application status, and access decisions issued by the tax grievance committee. It also archives applicants’ data and documents, ensuring comprehensive record‑keeping.
Officials explained that the initiative aims to improve efficiency in processing tax grievances, simplify procedures, strengthen oversight mechanisms, and enhance reporting and statistical outputs. By integrating digital tools, the system supports accurate decision‑making based on reliable data.
