LexisNexis® Legal & Professional announced that the New York State (NYS) Unified Court System (UCS)—which supports approximately 4,000 judges, chambers staffs, law departments, court clerks, court reporters, court interpreters, and administrative personnel as well as analysts and performance specialists—selected LexisNexis® Digital Library as the digital solution for its legal library reference materials and has been rolling out the services to its members since fall of 2014.
With LexisNexis Digital Library, NYS UCS library users gain access to a comprehensive collection of critical reference resources, such as Matthew Bender, Shepard’s®, Michie publications and other LexisNexis products. eBook titles can be shared among multiple users across the State and downloaded to a variety of mobile devices and desktop platforms—offering a speedier and virtual circulation of all research materials for the courts throughout New York.
LexisNexis Digital Library enables NYS UCS staff to purchase eBooks centrally and more smartly monitor its overall library collection, so they can manage distribution in a timely, efficient and economical manner via one central electronic platform.
