FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - A Florida federal judge on April 12 dismissed insolvent insurers' claims for aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duties and rescission against their former directors regarding a failed land investment (British American Isle of Venice $(BVI$) Ltd. and British American Insurance Company Ltd. v. Robert Fullerton, et al., Nos. 12-81329 & 12-81330, S.D. Fla.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 52979).
